The Eagle County Wildfire Collaborative (ECWC) is a group of stakeholders within Eagle County working together to help mitigate wildfire threats through collaboration and partnerships. The Collaborative works in all aspects of mitigation planning, grants, stakeholder engagement, recovery, project guidance, and other areas within wildfire mitigation management.
Wildfire Partner Program - promotes active shared engagement with citizens to increase wildfire resiliency, both before and after wildfire events. Wildfire Partners cultivates a neighbors-helping-neighbors approach to prepare homes, properties, roadways, homeowners associations, and businesses by reducing risk. Community Wildfire Preparedness - Loveland Fire Rescue Authority is partnering with The Ember Alliance to build a Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP). The Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) is a plan that identifies specific wildland fire risks facing communities and neighborhoods and provides prioritized recommendations to reduce those risks.
